Leadership

Jim Ritter is Faith Lutheran's pastor and has served the church for 14 years. Jim earned his Masters of Divinity degree in 1988 from the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC) Jim first served Emmaus Lutheran church in Bloomington, MN for 12 years before he was called to help launch a new church work in Parker, Colorado. After 7 exciting years in Colorado, Jim returned with his family back to the Minneapolis area and presently serves Faith Lutheran in Shakopee.

Before Jim became a pastor, he was heavily involved with The Navigators, a para church organization devoted to life changing discipleship. Jim met his wife Judy through the Navigator ministry and have enjoyed serving as a team for nearly 30 years. Judy works as a medical social worker.

Together they have 3 wonderful children! The heartbeat of Jim's ministry is to invite people from all backgrounds

to discover a rich life long relationship with Jesus Christ, as opposed to merely practicing religion.
